Matthew Gamber (b. 1977) lives and works in Worcester, Massachusetts. He is the recipient of an Individual Photographer's Fellowship from the Aaron Siskind Foundation, an Artist’s Resource Trust Grant from the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, a Traveling Fellowship from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and a Blanche E. Colman Award.

Gamber is an Assistant Professor in the Visual Arts Department at the College of the Holy Cross, having previously taught at Lesley University College of Art and DesignBoston CollegeSchool of the Museum of Fine Arts, BostonSavannah College of Art and DesignMassachusetts College of Art and Design. He has also previously worked on archive and digitization projects with Harvard University and the Boston Public Library for Digital Commonwealth.
