The Field

2016–Present

This project explores the Transcendentalist legacy of New England through its landscapes, illustrated in a variety of three-dimensional imaging techniques. As the continent became modernized by the Industrial Revolution, people became increasingly estranged from their natural environments. The camera and 3D technology amplify the aura conspicuously absent from our casual observations of these environments.
